Stay with Impact: Aspen Meadows Resort

At 8,000 feet above sea level, surrounded by 40 acres of meadows, sculpture gardens, and Bauhaus-inspired architecture, Aspen Meadows Resort has always been a place built on intention. So when it came time to choose what fills its shelves and welcome moments, the team found a natural partner in Procure Impact.

Through the resort's partnership with Procure Impact, guests are now discovering a curated lineup of mission-driven products: protein-packed KiZE bars made by at-risk youth, Beautiful Day granola crafted by refugees, Thistle Farms spa products made by trafficking survivors, Field Trip jerky snacks crafted by those transitioning out of homelessness, and Saucy Ladies Kettle Chips from a women-owned kitchen. Each grab-and-go product at Aspen Meadows Resort carries a story that has become part of the stay.

A Resort Rooted in Community

During one of our recent visits, our team at Procure Impact sat down with Carrie Williams, the resort's General Manager, to hear how purpose-driven sourcing fits into a property that hosts everything from institute fellows to leisure travelers chasing mountain air.

“Aspen Meadows is a 98-key room hotel in the West End here in Aspen, Colorado. We do a lot of groups. Our main client is the Aspen Institute, which sits right here on the property with us. Other than that, we do a lot of other social groups, fraternal groups, and then of course, leisure guests.”

A Mission Worth Buying Into

For Carrie, the decision to partner with Procure Impact came down to something simple: purpose. When we asked what first piqued her interest, she didn't hesitate:

“The mission — 100%. I mean, if I'm going to buy chips or pretzels or any type of sundry, I'd rather have it serve a purpose.”

That single idea — that everyday purchases can carry real weight — is the same philosophy that drives the Aspen Institute's work next door, making the partnership feel less like a sourcing decision and more like a natural extension of who Aspen Meadows already is.

Purpose, Packaged Beautifully

Bringing mission-driven products into a resort setting takes more than good intentions — it takes thoughtful execution. Carrie pointed to the hands-on support from the Procure Impact team as a real differentiator.

“Your team was absolutely wonderful in helping put together the signage so everything has a much more cohesive look.

There's a lot of products that are sold at Procure Impact that have the displays already with them, so that made it very easy. You see a lot of people that will look at the stories, but the packaging is also done in such a way that it draws the eye to it.”

An Experience Guests Can Feel

Aspen Meadows Resort draws a particular kind of traveler — one who's often headed out the door toward a trailhead, a slope, or a festival. Carrie shared how purpose-driven products have found a natural fit in that lifestyle.

“A lot of our leisure travel is people who are very activity-focused. So we have a lot of things that they can grab and go, like the jerkies and the meat sticks and things like that, that they can just grab and take and go on their hike. And then, of course, being that the Institute is very mission-driven, I think people relate more to the product. People do want to buy things that make an impact, and that means something.”

Whether it's a KiZE bar tucked into a daypack or a Beautiful Day granola bar grabbed on the way to a fly-fishing excursion on the Roaring Fork, the products are becoming part of how guests experience Aspen itself — fueling adventure with a story behind every bite.

A Peak Partnership

From welcome amenities to grab-and-go snacks for guests headed to an outdoor excursion, Aspen Meadows Resort is proving that even the smallest touchpoints — a jerky stick, a bag of chips, a quick stop for shampoo — can carry a story that guests want to be part of.

It's a fitting match for a resort built around art, ideas, and intention, and a beautiful example of what happens when a property's values and its supply chain point in the same direction.

Thank you to Carrie Williams and the entire Aspen Meadows Resort team for showing what it means to Stay With Impact — and for proving that purpose belongs in every corner of a stay.
