“The partnership has been seamless; from the moment we connected with them it’s been great. There’s been so much opportunity to connect the hotel with the community.”

In the heart of America’s capital city, AC Hotel Washington, D.C. Downtown is showing how hospitality can do more than welcome guests—it can connect them to the people, stories, and businesses making a meaningful impact.

Through a partnership with Procure Impact, the Marriott International hotel, managed by OTO Devleopment, offers guests a thoughtfully curated selection of snacks that are not only delicious but also purpose-driven. For Ritesh Gandhi, Assistant General Manager at AC Hotel Washington, D.C. Downtown, the partnership has created a powerful opportunity to bring local and mission-driven products into the guest experience.

“Procure does a great job of having so many suppliers, whether they are local or around the U.S.,” Gandhi shared.

At AC Hotel Washington, D.C. Downtown, the snack area has become more than a place for guests to grab a quick bite. It has become a space for discovery—where travelers can learn about businesses that are creating positive change in communities across the country.

“I think it’s a great opportunity to have Procure in our market,” Gandhi said. “It’s an area where people, when they want to grab a snack, can see what we have to offer. But it also highlights some of the local businesses that make an impact in our community.”

One of those featured brands is Greyston Brownies, a beloved social enterprise known for its rich brownies, blondies, and sweet treats. But Greyston’s impact goes far beyond dessert.

Greyston creates incredible indulgences while providing jobs, training, and second chances to individuals who may experience barriers to employment. Every brownie or blondie purchased helps support their job training program and creates pathways to opportunity for people ready to take the next step in their careers. To date, Greyston has helped change 301 lives—and counting.

For guests, these products offer more than convenience. They offer a connection to a larger story.

“Having the descriptions with the products brings a level of curiosity and helps us connect guests to vendors,” Gandhi explained.

That curiosity is at the heart of what makes impact-driven hospitality so powerful. A simple snack can become a conversation starter. A guest purchase can support a mission. A hotel marketplace can become a bridge between travelers and the communities they visit.

For Gandhi and his team, working with Procure Impact has made it easy to bring these meaningful products into the hotel.

“The partnership has been seamless; from the moment we connected with them it’s been great,” he said. “There’s been so much opportunity to connect the hotel with the community.”

At Procure Impact, we believe every hotel has the power to create positive change through the products they purchase and share with guests. AC Hotel Washington, D.C. Downtown is a beautiful example of what it means to #staywithimpact—enhancing the guest experience while supporting businesses that are building stronger, more inclusive communities.

Thank you to Ritesh Gandhi and the AC Hotel Washington, D.C. Downtown team for giving guests the chance to discover meaningful products, support impactful vendors, and experience hospitality with purpose.
