This Women’s History Month, we’re not just celebrating women entrepreneurs — we’re welcoming four brand-new women-owned vendors to the Procure Impact marketplace.

Did you know that women influence more than 80% of travel decisions? From choosing destinations to selecting hotels and experiences, women play a defining role in how and where guests spend their time and money.

As we approach Women’s History Month, we’re excited to introduce four new female-owned brands to the Procure Impact marketplace. These thoughtfully crafted products not only elevate the guest experience but also reflect the values and purchasing power of today’s travelers — helping your property meet guests in ways that feel authentic, memorable, and meaningful.

Why Your Purchasing is Critical to Women-Owned Businesses

Women-owned businesses are one of the fastest-growing segments of the U.S. economy — and yet access to capital and distribution remains uneven.

Access to distribution — including hospitality partnerships — is one of the most important drivers of growth. When hotels choose to feature women-owned brands in minibars, retail, and F&B programs, they creates real economic opportunity.

That’s why we’re especially excited to introduce these four new vendors this month.

MAIKAH Goods

Joyful Luxury for Travel and Retail

MAIKA Goods is a women-owned brand based in Oakland, California, founded by designer Viola Sutanto. Inspired by her background in the global luxury bag industry, Viola set out to create thoughtfully designed, sustainably made bags that bring high-end craftsmanship into everyday life — at an accessible price point.

Each piece features original artwork hand-painted or illustrated in Oakland and is designed for modern nomads navigating busy lives, from co-working spaces to airports to school pick-ups.

The brand’s mission became deeply personal during her daughter’s battle with a life-threatening illness. Watching her find joy even in the hardest moments shaped MAIKA’s core philosophy: spreading small joys through beautiful, functional design.

Through its Greater Good Pledge, MAIKA donates a portion of proceeds each quarter to organizations making meaningful change, including UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals Foundation, The Loveland Foundation, and The Conscious Kid.

MAIKA also partners with GHE Fulfillment, which employs adults with developmental disabilities, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive economic opportunity. Where it fits in hospitality:

  • Lobby and boutique retail

  • Resort gift shops

  • Wine-country and destination properties

  • Curated lifestyle assortments

For properties seeking retail offerings that blend artistry, sustainability, and story, MAIKA delivers everyday luxury with heart.

Better Sour

Lower-Sugar Gummies with Global Roots

Better Sour is a newly launched, women-founded brand created by daughters of Iranian immigrants who have become entrepreneurs. They grew up in Hawaii. Inspired by the bold tropical flavors of their childhood, they developed lower-sugar sour gummies that deliver vibrant taste with better-for-you ingredients.

Flavors include: Tart Cherry, Passionfruit, Pomegranate Apricot, and Guava Calamansi Lime. Available in both mini and full-size packs, Better Sour aligns with growing consumer demand for wellness-forward snacks without sacrificing flavor.

Best use cases for hospitality:

  • Minibar refresh

  • Welcome amenities

  • Family-friendly offerings

  • Resort and Hawaii-based properties

  • Surprise-and-delight moments

It’s a modern twist on a classic candy category — and a strong addition to any updated minibar program.

Mocktail Club

Elevated Zero-Proof Beverages for Modern Guests

Mocktail Club is a Black-owned, women-owned brand founded by Pauline, a global traveler and early pioneer in the alcohol-free beverage movement.

Long before mocktails became mainstream, she was crafting globally inspired, sophisticated zero-proof drinks with layered flavor profiles. Options include spice-forward blends like Bombay Fire and tropical coconut-inspired beverages.

The best part? For every can purchased, Mocktail Club partners with Water for People to provide clean water access across the globe. 1 in 10 people lack access to clean water. 663 million people drink dirty water. 2.4 billion people lack access to lavatories. Through their sales, Mocktail Club helps women, children, and communities improve their health and realize their potential by supporting long-term solutions for safe water and sanitation. Each drink sale contributes to finding solutions.

With clean, elevated packaging and strong retail distribution experience, Mocktail Club is ideal for:

  • Spa menus

  • Premium minibar

  • Retail coolers

  • Resort pool programs

  • Alcohol-free programming

As more guests seek inclusive beverage options, zero-proof offerings are becoming a standard — not a niche. Mocktail Club allows properties to meet that demand in a thoughtful, elevated way.

Nicole’s Kitchen

Gourmet Crispy Rice Bars with a Mission

Nicole’s Kitchen is a DC-based, women-owned brand crafting indulgent crispy rice treats with a six-month shelf life — making them hospitality-ready.

Available in classic and chocolate drizzle varieties, these generously sized treats feel more like a premium snack than a small candy.

They’re well-suited for:

  • Higher-end minibar

  • Retail grab-and-go

  • Kid-friendly amenities

  • Specialty snack displays

Nicole is deeply committed to the well-being of the District, Maryland, and Virginia. Her kitchen regularly donates a portion of their proceeds to vital local organizations like So Others Might Eat. They also use their kitchen as a space for empowerment—teaching marketable work skills to underemployed adults, mentoring youth, and eventually establishing a permanent community space where education, belonging, and joy meet. We aren't just selling cookies; we are fostering connection and building a sweeter community, one bite at a time.
